PRESENTATION
HYGIENIC PAINT is a bi-component epoxy coating, designed to get in contact with food. In its formulation, it contains Ecotor Marine B, which gives the flooring an ionizing and easy-cleaning power.
FEATURES
HYGIENIC PAINT has been created for application in business, hospital, industrial and food sectors, where aesthetic qualities, high mechanical strengths, and ionization of surface areas are needed. The absence of surface porosity makes it easier to wash and clean.
HYGIENIC PAINT allows realizing floorings with a thickness between 0.2 and 1 mm. The product consists of fluid epoxy resins exempt from solvents. The flooring obtained shows high resistance to mechanical stress and chemical aggressors. Besides, the ionizing component creates an easy-cleaning function.
USE
HYGIENIC PAINT is recommended for those sectors that require high aesthetic qualities, such as business centers, shops, and offices, and for industrial sectors where high mechanical strength and the best chemical characteristics (shops, offices, commercial centers, dairies, meat shops, pharmaceutical industries, hospitals, laboratories, cellars, canteens, and garages) are needed.
To meet these specific needs of the above-mentioned sectors, HYGIENIC PAINT must be catalyzed only with its specific hardener (Comp. B) in the indicated percentage.
APPLICATION
a) Check that the base is not humid and that it does not exude any water owing to capillarity from underlying layers. Otherwise, proceed to create a steam barrier. Eliminate those parts which are not well anchored and all traces of oil and fats.
b) Apply a coat of Hygienic Primer for HYGIENIC PAINT (COMP. A + B).
c) Preparation: mix COMP.A + COMP.B of HYGIENIC PAINT as indicated.
d) Any joints should be maintained after inserting an elastic joint.

STORAGE AND VALIDITY
HYGIENIC PAINT (both comp. A and comp. B) shy away from the cold.
Preserve the packages at a temperature between 10°C and 40°C for a period not exceeding one year.
