Description
ECOTOR B is a very fine powder of particular tourmalines with ionic activity, whose particle size is within the range of nano and microparticles. Its main feature is the capability to emit negative ions.
CHARACTERISTICS
The main feature of ECOTOR B is its ability to emit electronegative charges on the surface of its particles and in the surrounding environment in all conditions of light.
The electronegativity of surface promotes a strong ionization of the surrounding environment The ionization makes the air cleaner and purer by substituting the normal electrical ionizers; with the advantage that ECOTOR B does not consume energy.
It also constitutes an efficacious barrier to the adhesion of all organic and inorganic particles, especially of dirt particles. Because of this, the surfaces treated with ECOTOR B avoid the deposition of dirt and they are self-cleaning under the action of water.
All these actions remain active as long as ECOTOR B persists on the surface.
Since it is a natural product, we cannot ensure the constancy of the color.
USE
Thanks to its self-cleaning action, ECOTOR B is used with success in the preparation of indoor and outdoor cement based plasters, water based paint, and silicate, hydrated lime, and synthetic resin based paints.
To obtain a better distribution of ECOTOR B in the final mixture, it is advisable to pre-disperse the mixture in a part of one of the components of the mixture and then add Pentaflow PC 5 if the mixture is dry or Pentaflow PCL 25 if the mixture is liquid or in paste.

DOSAGE
The recommended dosage of ECOTOR B is normally of 2.0 – 3.0% on the solid components of the mixtures. Anyway, it is advisable to carry out preventive tests on the specific mixtures in order to establish the most suitable and convenient dosage according to the expected results.
STORAGE AND VALIDITY
If ECOTOR B is stored in a dry place, in the original sacks perfectly closed, it has 12-month validity from the date of the transport document. In case humidity is absorbed by the product, it does not jeopardize its efficaciousness, but makes its dosage difficult and imprecise and its distribution in the finished mixture non homogeneous. It is therefore recommended to close the sacks with care after each collection.
RECOMMENDATION
In the present state of our knowledge there are no special recommendations for the manipulation of ECOTOR B. Anyway, in consideration of the particle size of the product, it is advisable to take all the precautions dedicated to the use of products in powder form and avoid contact with the wet or sweaty skin.
