Description
ECOTOR B-GP is a very fine powder of particular tourmalines with ionic activity, whose particle size is within the range of nano and microparticles. Its main feature is the capability to emit negative ions.
The main feature of ECOTOR B-GP is its ability to emit electronegative charges on the surface of its particles and in the surrounding environment in all conditions of light.
The electronegativity of surface promotes a strong ionization of the surrounding environment The ionization makes the air cleaner and purer by substituting the normal electrical ionizers; with the advantage that ECOTOR B-GP does not consume energy.
It also constitutes an efficacious barrier to the adhesion of all organic and inorganic particles, especially of dirt particles. Because of this, the surfaces treated with ECOTOR B-GP avoid the deposition of dirt and they are self-cleaning under the action of water.
All these actions remain active as long as ECOTOR B-GP persists on the surface.
Since it is a natural product, we cannot ensure the constancy of the color.
Thanks to its self-cleaning action, ECOTOR B-GP is used with success in the preparation of indoor and outdoor cement based plasters, water based paint, and silicate, hydrated lime, and synthetic resin based paints.
To obtain a better distribution of ECOTOR B-GP in the final mixture, it is advisable to pre-disperse the mixture in a part of one of the components of the mixture and then add Pentaflow PC 6 if the mixture is dry or Pentaflow PCL 25 if the mixture is liquid or in paste.

The suggested dosage for ECOTOR B-GP is normally 2.0 – 3.0 % on the total weight of solid components.
It is advisable to carry out preliminary tests on the specific mixtures in order to establish the optimum dosage depending on the expected results.
If it is stored in a dry place and in its original bags kept perfectly closed, ECOTOR B-GP has a 2 years validity starting from the date on the delivery note.
Should moisture be absorbed by the product, this does not affect its efficaciousness, but it makes its dosage difficult and it causes a non-homogeneous distribution in the finished mixture.
It is therefore advisable to close the bags carefully after each collection.
In our present state of knowledge, there are no specific requirements in handling ECOTOR B-GP.
In any case, because of the particle size of ECOTOR B-GP, it is advisable to adopt all the precautions needed for the use of powdery products and to avoid direct contact with wet or sweaty skin.
